The latest update, Stardew Valley 1.6.9 launched yesterday & with its release came a few interesting bugs, one that has since been remedied in a bug fix patch.
Currently being available for Steam/GOG, the latest patch fixes an interesting bug, where upon creating a new farm on the meadowlands farm, when leaving the animal door open on day 1, your chickens will vanish. For platforms that have not received the latest patch yet, ConcernedApe has stated that this can be fixed by leaving the door closed for day 1.
In a tweet addressing this, ConcernedApe also stated: “Lore: There is a wild coyote on the farm day 1 rn.”
