CD Projekt Red has been in many headlines crossing over from last year to this year, especially after the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
In the latest development unfolding within the Polish studio, Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz has resigned.
This comes after months of internal investigations surrounding bullying which Tomaszkiewicz was found not guilty regarding the allegations, according to an email which was sent to staff (reviewed by Bloomberg).
The email stated “Nonetheless, a lot of people are feeling fear, stress or discomfort when working with me,” he said. The letter also contained an apology “for all the bad blood I have caused.”
The decision of departure was also said to be mutual involving both Tomaszkiewicz and the board. This leaves the lingering of questions regarding the company and the current direction of the confirmed Witcher project.
