The sequel to State of Decay, the zombie-survival RPG created by Undead Labs now has a release date set for May 22 across the Xbox One and PC under Play Anywhere.
Along with announcement came the price for the game which will be $29.99 for the Standard Edition of the game and $49.99 for the Ultimate Edition. For the Ultimate Edition, players can expect to get early access to State of Decay 2, a free copy of the original State of Decay: Year One Survivial Edition, the Independence Pack and also the Daybreak Pack DLC’s.
With the price being quite affordable, Aaron Greenberg, the Microsoft GM of Games Marketing said, “Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with the State of Decay community and to foster deeper experiences with the franchise. We believe State of Decay 2 accomplishes this goal by immersing fans in the ultimate zombie survival fantasy, and we want to give more players the opportunity to join in and experience this unique game.”
Going from gameplay and the trailers that have been released for State of Decay 2 so far, the game looks to be promising, building more so on the strong base that came with the series first installment.
