With the newest addition to the Tomb Raider series coming in the form of the action packed movie staring Alicia Vikander, all was a bustle on the internet yesterday after news surrounding the next game in the series was leaked online through inspecting the HTML on a page teasing a reveal for March 15.
With that being said, Square Enix has now released a trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the next gain to join the franchise on September 14. Another interesting piece of news is the fact that it won’t be a console exclusive and gamers will be able to buy the game across the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and even the PC.
The cinematic trailer runs for a duration of around 23 seconds and paints a brief picture of the games setting, displaying thick menacing jungle and large Aztec like structures in the distance.
The game itself is being developed by Eidos Montreal, the studio behind titles such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The previous installments including both Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider were developed by Crystal Dynamics.
