Last month, Rockstar began to tease special editions that will be available for their upcoming title Red Dead Redemption 2.
With an official reveal, it can now be noted that there are three different versions which players and fans of the franchise can chose when purchasing the game.
The first in the line up of three is the Special Edition, this will be set at a price of $80, and will include several story mode additions and a physical world map. Breaking these down, there will be a bank robbery mission and a gang hideout in the story mode. A dappled black thoroughbred horse, a nuevo paraiso gunslinger outfit, talisman and medallion gameplay bonuses, gameplay boosts and chas bonuses and three weapons which will be free at Gunsmiths.
The second is the Ultimate Edition which is priced at $100, this will include all content which also comes in the Special Edition, but will of course feature even more bonus content. Additional outfits include the Blackrose Bounty Hunter and Copperhead Enforcer. There are also Rank Bonuses, a Black Chestnut thoroughbred and showcased in the image is also an exclusive steelbook.
Lastly there is the Collector’s Box which also costs $100, the different though, is that it does not contain any digital content, or the game. It is instead filled with physical collectible items, ranging from a metal tithing box with a lock and key to a double-sided 100 piece puzzle. Other items included can be viewed in the image down below.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will release for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on October 26, but both the Special and Ultimate editions are already available to be pre-ordered on the Playstation Network and Xbox Store.
