Debuting at this years San Diego Comic-Con, Nintendo and Mattel have joined forces to create Mario Kart Hot Wheels.
The first line up of toys will feature eight characters including Mario, Bowser, Peach, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Wario and Rosalina. Along with the cars, there are also plans to release tracks that are Mario Kart Inspired (whaattt).
The toys will be sold individually for a price of $5, apart from those details there is no other pricing that has been announced for the types of tracks people will be able to purchase.
In other Mario Kart news, Nintendo has released a new update which brings Breath of the Wild content into the title. These include new additions to the game include:
- New character added: Link (Champion’s Tunic)
- New vehicle added: Master Cycle Zero
- New tires added: Ancient Tires
- New glider added: Paraglider
