It’s official, the Kickstarter-funded game Friday the 13th has received a release date after previously being pushed back to 2017 and will now launch on May 26 across Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, for the price of $40.
Although this is so, only the multiplayer mode will be avaliable, with single-player mode coming as a free update in the summer. The multiplayer will pin 1 player vs 7, as the seven camp counselors attempt to survive against the notorious Jason Voorhees.
The three maps that will be included in the game consist of Camp Crystal Lake, Packanack Log and Higgins Haven.
Along with the launch confirmation, a new trailer has also been uploaded which brings you into the world of not only locations in the game for the players to roam in but also the brutality of Jason himself through various executions.
