With an original planned release of July 10, Dr. Mario World has launched early on iOS and Android, making its debut on the 9th instead.

The title itself is free to play but does feature the option to purchase “diamonds” in game which can be used to replenish the energy meter or also on purchases of items such as capsules.

As for gameplay, this is built around the concept of using as few capsules as possible, in order to get rid of colorful but deadly viruses. Once the player runs out of capsules, the game is over.
