When we play video games we interact with many different things, some of these things are weapons, props, environment based models or even the clothing that the characters wear.

Each of these adding to the experience we have as gaming, coming together to form a complete and interactive game.

The interesting thing about this, is when those items that we are so familiar with somehow make the transition off of the screen and into the real world. An example of this comes in the form of a Youtuber who goes by the name of Mr. Volt who creates content showcasing robotics, props, gadgets and DIY’s to do with technology. The most recent videos focusing on bringing to life Overwatch weapons and gadgets such as Mercy’s Caduceus Staff, Tracer’s Pulse Bomb, Soilder 76’s Biotic Field Lamp and even Mei’s robot companion Snowball (yes it’s just as adorable as in game Snowball).

In these videos Mr. Volt goes into detail about how these items are made and what went into the process of creating them, including the required tech specifics. For instance with Snowball, there is a main processor, the Particle Photon, and ears “that have a 1″ linear actuator from Morai Motion” as is stated in the videos description

One of the highlights of these videos is that you actually get to see how these real life creations work. Mercy’s staff circulates mimicking in game motion, Tracer’s bomb pulsates, and Snowball’s eyes are even animated adding the lifelike quality to the robot which you can see in the video that we have shared below.
