Classic titles galore, Sega will be bringing a string of its old school games to the Nintendo Switch.
This information was announced by the publisher during the Sega Fes event which took place in Japan and will be released under the name of Sega Ages.
This lineup will be available across North America, Europe and Japan at a later time in the year with the first five classics to be two Master System titles, Phantasy Star and Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Genesis versions of Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV. To finish this off, there will also be an arcade version of Gain Ground.
The ports are being managed by M2, a studio that has worked on other Sega 3D Classics for the 3DS and the Game Boy Advance releases for the Wii U’s Virtural Console.
At this current time Sega has not stated an official release date or a price range They have although, released some screenshots and have discussed their plan to releases more than 15 games for the Sega Ages titles.
