In recent news various companies have been announcing their plans to compete in the realm of streaming platforms.
The latest to join the likes of other global giants who are working to compete in this thriving scene, is Verizon. Launching a service with the name of Verizon Gaming, the platform is reported to have alpha-testing underway in pairing with the Nvidia Shield device. This information comes from The Verge who have also stated that at some point in the future, it will be available on Android smartphones; along with this, there will also be the option to play using a “paired Xbox One controller.
According to the site, although Verizon has not announced anything to do with Verizon Gaming, they have been recruiting gamers to join in on the testing phase. Providing them with the option of 135 games, a free Nvidia Shield, Xbox One controller, a login to be able to test the platform and, a $150 gift card for Amazon once their testing is completed.
